There are many ways that you can support Daffodil Day, whether it’s volunteering at a merchandise stall, dedicating a daffodil or fundraising through your school or workplace, the options are endless.

ABOUT DAFFODIL DAY

Daffodil Day is an important date in Cancer Council’s calendar with the day being one of Australia's most iconic events. Every year, supporters and volunteers come together in the community to sell daffodils, merchandise and collect donations to help fund our vital work.

This year Daffodil Day will take place on Friday 24 August across Australia to raise funds for life-saving cancer research.

This year the event celebrates 32 years of turning Australia yellow, with Cancer Council aiming to raise more than $4 million for cancer research

The daffodil is the international symbol of hope and with every daffodil sold, Cancer Council can invest in life-saving research to give Australians the best chance of survival.

DEDICATE A DAFFODIL

Through the Cancer Councils' Daffodil Day fundraising website you can 'Dedicate A Daffodil' to a loved one and make a donation in the process.

WHERE YOUR MONEY IS GOING

Thanks to research, 61,000 Australian lives have been saved by improvements in cancer prevention, screening and treatment. Over the past 5 years, Cancer Council and its research partners have invested more than $285m in world-class cancer research. And it’s through the support of people like you that this has been possible.

Hawthorne Clinic will proudly be supporting Daffodil Day this Friday 24 August and will be encouraging you to do the same through the visual reminder of a bunch of sunny daffodils that will be displayed in reception.
