Additional GP's Improve Appointment Availability
We have been working hard to improve the availability of appointments with our GP's and are pleased to announce that our clinical team has grown!
There have been several changes to our team over the past month.
Dr Monica Steel is no longer practicing at Hawthorne Clinic. Dr Steel had developed quite a following over her five and a half years at Hawthorne Clinic, and will be missed by patients and the Clinic Team alike. We wish her every success and happiness for the future.
It is with excitement that we introduce three new GP's to our team, who have all started this week.
Dr Sonia Jitpiriyaroj is new to Brisbane from Melbourne, having also recently spent some time in North Queensland. Dr Sonia is passionate about women’s health, as well as weight management, stress management and self-care. Dr Sonia will be practicing at Hawthorne Clinic full time, and has sessions available Monday to Friday.
Dr Nevin Colgrave is a broadly experienced GP, having worked in various settings, including hospitals, running his own GP Practice, and being a Medical Officer in the Australian Army. Dr Nevin has recently settled in the Bulimba community and will be practicing at Hawthorne Clinic on a part time basis.
Dr Geetha Kannapiran has experience in various fields of medicine, having practiced in various locations across Brisbane and Ireland. Dr Geetha enjoys all aspects of General Practice, but in particular Women's Health, Chronic Disease Care and looking after young families. Dr Geetha is also passionate about Indigenous Health and will practice at Hawthorne Clinic on a part time basis, with sessions available initially on a Thursday afternoon and Saturday morning.
We know you will join us in welcoming Dr Sonia, Dr Nevin and Dr Geetha into the Hawthorne Clinic community as they help us serve you.
