Musculoskeletal Medicine is a medical discipline that deals with pain and disordered function of muscles, joints, tendons, ligaments, nerves and associated tissues.
Dr Masato Kato has a long standing interest in Musculoskeletal Medicine. He has completed certificates for musculoskeletal medicine and prolotherapy workshop from Australian Association of Musculoskeletal Medicine.
He offers musculoskeletal complaint-specific clinic sessions.
Non-surgical musculoskeletal problems that can be treated include
Cervicogenic headaches/ migraines
Neck pains

Dr Kato aims to diagnose and treat acute or chronic non-surgical musculoskeletal pains. The process includes establishing history of the pain, physical examination, investigations (if required) and management, including treatments.
Treatment modalities include gentle mobilisation and injection therapy with local anaesthetic, steroid and/or glucose solutions (perineural injection therapy and prolotherapy).
